Explore The World of Yoruba

The Yoruba people have historically inhabited the present-day southwestern Nigeria known as
Yorubaland since time immemorial. This area spans across the states of Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo,
and Ekiti, as well as parts of Kwara, Kogi, Edo, and Delta. Additionally, they also inhabit parts of the
French-speaking Republics of Benin and Togo. The outer ring constitutes the Yoruba diaspora
communities, including the Yoruba people living in Lille, France.
